The Challenge

In the current employment landscape, individuals with disabilities face significant diversity and inclusion challenges. The employment rate for people with disabilities is roughly 30% lower than that of the broader population. At Elevate, we understand the critical need for change and are committed to making a difference.

Introducing 'Elevate for All'

We're proud to announce the launch of 'Elevate for All', an initiative specifically designed to support disabled job seekers within the engineering and green skills sectors. Our objective is to empower these individuals by helping them navigate the challenges of the job search and to encourage other companies in the industry to embrace deeper diversity, equity, and inclusivity.

What We Offer

'Elevate for All' will offer personalised support to jobseekers, including assistance with crafting effective CVs, conducting mock interviews, and providing insight into the green sector. All sessions will be one-on-one and take place via a video conferencing platform in order to avoid physical limitations.

Focusing on Green Skills and Engineering

Our initiative places a special focus on green skills and engineering, aligning the abilities of job seekers with the sustainable practices that are increasingly vital in today's workforce. Sustainability is for everyone, which is why this initiative to open to jobseekers with or without STEM experience. We will provide guidance on which soft skills are valuable and transferrable to the green sector, as well as what type of green jobs exist in the market.

Our Impact Goal

By the end of 2024, our goal is to support and empower at least 50 disabled individuals to secure employment in the wider green skills and engineering sectors. This endeavour not only aligns with the Equality Act 2010 but also addresses the substantial, long-term impacts that disabilities can have on daily life and activities.

Get Involved

The initiative is now open for participation! If you know someone who might be interested, please encourage them to email us at hello@elevateverywhere.com with the subject line 'Elevate for All'.

Spread the Word

We urge you to share information about this initiative with disability organisations and within your network. Together, we can break down barriers and cultivate a diverse, inclusive workplace that values and supports everyone.
